It was great to meet everyone at the Wichita Bridal Expo this year.  We made lots of new friends and can't wait for the opportunity to be apart of your wedding day.  There was a lot to take in at the show, so here are a few photos of our booth to remind you of your favorites.

We just spent a beautiful Saturday with newly weds Josh and Abbey and Century Plaza.  Abbey's inspiration came from gerber daisies and shades of pink.  Our custom cake pop stand had special meaning to the groom since he helped us build it last spring.              Flavors like pink champagne, german chocolate, red velvet and mayan chocolate glittered their delicious table.  Their marble cutting cake was adorned with an edible gerber daisy flower.  Congrats Josh and Abbey!                       

This is a behind the scenes look at the packaging production line we had going for the Go Wichita 30th Annual Meeting favors.  Go Wichita is the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Wichita, KS and just celebrated it's 30th year of promoting Wichita as a tourist destintion where you can "Expect the unexpected".  Cake truffle flavors included Mint Chocolate, Champagne, and Chocolate.   The custom truffle design was created exclusively for this event's theme of emeralds and pearls.  Velvet Cream Bakery is a proud member of Go Wichita and was honored to be apart of this celebration of Wichita's treasures.
